Soundtrack to a Video: "Garden of the Metal"

This is a uni assignment where we had to make a 2-3 minute electroacoustic soundtrack for a video. Cubase SX and EnergyXT were used for sequencing, and Adobe Audition and CDP were on sound mangling duties. The video is by Hitoshi Akayama and Katsuyuki Kamei. Short Electroacoustic Composition: "Tinka"

The assignment here was to compose a short electroacoustic composition based on a 66 second recording of a text written and read by Chris Mann. All the sounds used in the composition were derived from the recording. Adobe Audition, CDP and numerous VST plug-ins were used.

Long Electroacoustic Composition: "The Walk"

For this assignment we had to compose a 6-7 minute electroacoustic piece. All the sounds used were derived from a recording of a walk along a path in Oxford. As with the previous composition Adobe Audition, CDP and numerous VST plug-ins were used.
